Case
History: Collins Barrow
BRAND ISSUE: There was a genuine
interest at Collins
Barrow Windsor to increase contact with customers. Many use the accounting
firm only once or twice a year. Another function many of the partners perform
is giving out business advice. A lot of this advice is given without any fees
attached to them - sort of a cost of doing business.
TASK: To develop a solution that
would recoup money left on the table, increase contact with customers and as
a result, build stronger lasting relationships.
SOLUTION: care365. In developing
this custom product, we took much of the types of business advice given, added
to this additional services beneficial to the customer's situation and existing
service offerings. This bundle is now offered to the customer as a complete
service product, administered throughout the year at a reasonable monthly rate.
care365 is successful in re-couping dollars left on the table. Thisbrand solutiont
increases client dependancy on Collins Barrow, provides steady cash-flow and
gives Collins Barrow Windsor a proprietary product to sell. A strong differentiator
in the marketplace and a new revenue stream for the company. Case
History: Business Circuit BRAND ISSUE: Business Alliance,
was a networking group comprised of members of the Renaissance Club in downtown
Detroit. Essentially, they had lost their way. There was a need to understand
who they are and how they could connect with members who have a desire to participate
but don't as a result of this identity crisis.
TASK: Reinvigorate the group, develop
a format that compliments the unique make-up of the membership and generates
business opportunities through genuine relationships.
SOLUTION:
Through the use of our branding process, the personality of the group
was established and it conflicted with the values established. Also, it was
determined that traditional networking strategies sparked internal conflicts
as well. The solution was to re-catagorize the organization. They are longer
a traditional networking group but a 'circuit'. The Business Circuit is now
developing methodology to make the group's structure beneficial to all who participate.
Couple this with a new brand image and an educational philosophy and we have
the makings of stronger more focused business opportunity.
